Finished! I like the composition and the quality of light coming through the leaves but I might chose a different color and value for the statue to emphasize the backlighting even more. Anyway, I don't think I'm quite finished with the subject yet.

Lovely work but I do think the statue needs to be darker in value …

ReplyDeleteI don't think darker so much as I think redder. And as long as I am being so helpful I notice the leaves are lighter (closer to the sunlight?) on the left. I wonder if you could accentuate that difference just for a little added kick.
