Since this was just a study, I don't feel too precious about it. That's why I didn't hesitate to add a last minute dark glaze over the houses to add contrast between the sleeping houses and the sun-kissed tree tops. It also unified them into a cohesive group and shifted the focus to the light instead of the houses.
It could have been a total disaster, but I like it! And now, only one more session and I'll be calling this complete.
I really love this one! Something about the warm and cool colors next to each other... Maybe Greeta's book really does know what it's talking about!!
