Excellent choice--contrasting the organic flower and bird with the gridded background. You didn't use pencils on the building, did you? And yes, just a little more detail on the bird and you'll be there.
The contrast between the sunflower and building is great, but the bird just needs to come up to their level.
Yeah, just heighten your bird, a superbird maybe, and everything with be alright.
