Greeta’s Bouquet and some progress shots

This was an image from WC class that several of us took a stab at.  Have decided to spend some time mixing greens...making charts and being more mindful of the variation

The challenge will be to have the boy look like Wyatt.

Looks like her hairdo will have to change to cover that freaky little hand of his.

  1. Nicely done, Greeta. I really like the bouquet in the window, especially the purple flower and the glass vase. And thanks for adding the progress shots. It's like being together and seeing paintings come together. By the way, his hand isn't freaky at all. It's just right.

  2. Yeah, I like seeing your works-in-progress too. And his hand looks fine. He must be young enough to be okay with Mom's affection too.

  3. I love the ephemeral-ness of the still life: the pencil lines, the way everything is painted with a soft touch -just lovely. It contrasts greatly with your thought-out structured painting of mom and kid. It’s just interesting to me that we approach paintings with people so differently!
