Still Painting the Coast

Filling up the pages of the flip sketchbook. First one is a shelter bldg on a small harbor and the second a view of the street where we stay.

  1. These are interesting. I like the abstract energy in both images created by the strong lines. Don’t know if that was intentional, but it creates movement and excitement in the second one and a calmer but pleasing framing in the first.

  2. That first image is so deep and rich. It's beautiful. I like the energetic lines on the second painting. You can just see the sun hitting the tree and casting shadows. And again, such a rich variety of greens.

  3. Wow, Greeta. These are stunning. And completely different styles too. Both with saturated colors. The second one reminds me of the expressive energy seen in the Blue Rider group paintings.

  4. I like the geometry of the first one, and that post with the strands reaching out to the viewer is a very nice touch. The second is quite manic but ordered. But that mailbox doesn't look like it's along with the program.
