Packing today as we leave tomorrow for our cruise along the “enchanting Rhine.” Finished this yesterday — whoever said it looks like a children’s book illustration was right! It was fun to paint — a lot of mixed greens. Packed my sketchbook and portable palette. Maybe I’ll paint…or maybe I’ll come home with a lot of photos to paint from! See you in June….

ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful trip! And I like the painting. I liked last week's too and could have considered that finished. They have different vibes but I would have been happy with either. Congrats for going past that point where you know you've got something good and are afraid to ruin it!
ReplyDeleteIt took me some time to realize what I thought a blue plate is your gazing ball. This is beautiful and a bit abstract.
