...before starting a full-scale painting. The thing here is getting the quintessential color of the buildings, both in sun and shadow. I know you can't see much yet, but come back next week.
I liked her in situ—the background with the window and maybe half a Xmas tree. These backgrounds make it look more like a portrait, which doesn’t go with her opening the presents, etc. also, love that deep in thought person sketch…

ReplyDeleteI like all the backgrounds, but how can you put in any of them if they don't inspire you? Keep the image in your mind and one day you will walk into a room and bam, there it will be.
