For Ken

 I stopped by my Michigan farmers market and found these large green onions in a big red tub. So I painted them on a Yupo-like medium. 




Still need to do some more work on the top but I like the bottom. Too many meaningless stripes on top with meaningless color choices. I will fix this and get more Czanney with this image.

    I like the composition but maybe the onion bulbs need more definition. I like the movement of the stripes at the top and that slash or red below, but maybe the bulbs need some pale interesting colors wandering thru their form.

    I love the use of complementary colors on this. I think if you sharpen/define the green at the top, you'll automatically highlight the bulbs in the center. Another fruit/vegetable success!
