elaine t - Arctic fox

I managed to get the brushes out yesterday, and decided to let the paper do most of the work in the painting. That was fun; I think I'll try a painting of fog, and one of the rimefrost on my sister's evergreens. It's interesting to just work on shadows, and add only a few tints to the light areas.

  1. Welcome back! Your restraint is admirable! There’s hardly a dollar’s worth of paint there, but it all works so well.

  3. Wow! This is stunning! You've achieved that looseness you strive for, and on such a difficult subject, too. The colors, the textures—everything works! Welcome back!!

  4. Really lovely, Elaine. Unbelievably delicate and yet subtly colorful in it's simplicity. Good to see you too.
