The square house was supposed to be the star of the show, and may yet be, but I had to put in the lower part before I knew how to handle it and of course I got carried away, but damn it, I like it.
I like the lower part, too, but I think I'd like to see more sky. I still think the house would be the star of the show, but I think it's calling out for more breathing space.
Right now, the foreground is more interesting than the house — it needs to compete in terms of texture or color or something. Also that green stretch in front of the house going to the right leads your eye ( or at least my eye) right out of the frame…
