Not Quite Complete

 I fooled around for some time with the image.  The other Truman pics are 8”x 8” but could not get it to that size without deleting the shoes which would have been a travesty. This is 7x10…. It’s OK for the teacher to be bigger. Keep telling myself ….if only face was bigger, I could fix it.

 I will work on the hands but right now I think I’ll go paint fruit.

    Wonderful! You’ve captured her posture, her gaze, her hair, her shoes, and most importantly, her outfit! And she fits so well in the geometric setting…

    This is perfect! I'm okay with the different size, too. As you say, she's the teacher. Anyway, you got the essence of Pat--the stance, the way she wears her glasses, the whole look--and kudos for all the detail you managed to get in her outfit and shoes. Contrasts so nicely with the complementary background too.

    Hey, Greeta gets A+ for this term and she's not even registered! How you got a recognizable person out of that shapeless dress is amazing. And all the detail without being persnickety. Colors, value, composition, all well done. And I've never looked better.
