I wanted to have a child in the series and he was the only one, but he was close to a very small picture so you couldn’t see the painting. So I imposed him on a painting that I like. Wondering if it’s clear that his arms aren’t visible because he’s taking a picture.
Yes, very clear! You see his hands holding the phone and his shoulders are forward in the typical "taking a picture" pose. I like your choice of Cezanne painting...and that shoelace is a perfect touch!
ReplyDeleteYes, certainly taking a photo. I remembered last class you commented on how difficult the floor looks, but here it is lustrous. The next time I am in the Art Institute I will look down as well as up.
