I know! I just put photos in one at a time now. Anyway, I like the pairings here--the loose florals and, especially, the portraits. I like the similarities in color and composition. It almost feels like it's intended as a diptych and there's some deep allegorical meaning behind them.
If that guy had been our age instead of a stoopid phone he would be carrying a transistor radio and it would be tuned to the late Dick Biondi, and he would be way cooler.

ReplyDeleteI love the looseness of the peony sketch. Very "impressionistic"; just enough paint and tonal variations to give the viewer.
