A friend gifted me with a beautiful handmade Italian watercolor book. It’s 4x5-1/2. Our class down here is combined beginner/advanced. The beginner eggsersizes drew me in and I’ve worked in the little book.
This is not a painting. Just one of the neighbors eating breakfast I provided—-oatmeal and banana.
Love the Easter eggs, so solid, how did you get them to stand on their ends? We have seen many photos of turtles from you but I don't recall your ever painting one, and look, this newest guy comes with his own grid.
What a lovely sketchbook--I'd be afraid to use it! Anyway, you're off to a worthy start. The eggs are lovely, both the subtle still life versions and the shiny Easter eggs with their incredibly beautiful shadows. Do you have an Easter theme going? I see the eggs and the bunny. Now, you should paint that Easter turtle, too.
