This is 5 x 7. I painted this from a photo I took because I liked the composition and the colors. But can you tell what it is?
Also 5 x7. Here’s another quick study of Quinn from a photo. I feel like I captured her expression well…she has her arm around a bronze nymph, so that part is a little wonky.
Is Quinn adorable in real life? If yes, you captured her perfectly :)
ReplyDeleteThe sky, some water, maybe a lake, spring green field, spring muddy mud, and then some kind of highway, and I have no idea what those two vertical and slanty things are.
ReplyDeleteQuinn's expression is so natural and authentic! And now for the first painting. I do like the colors, the composition and the values and it works beautifully as an abstract. However, I'm not going to lie--I don't know what it is. Still, it feels familiar enough that once you say what it is, I'm going to say, "of course!" (I was going to share some of the increasingly odd stories I saw in it, but decided honesty was simply the best way to go.)
