This is pretty close to done I think. Trying to make Joe’s face look a little less cartoonish, but it’s only getting dirty….the tree needs a little more work on the right side maybe….
This is such a lovely composition. Maybe if you put more of his face in shadow and leave just a sliver of light around the sunlit edge (like the body), that might solve potentially overworking the face and make the outdoors even brighter. Or not... I like it as is, too.
The fez has become a hair dryer. Good idea that sliver of light. Of course I am not fond of cast shadows but little one on the table connects the inside and the outside and give it depth.
