Happy Thanksgiving

Two versions of a pumpkin. Street scene from a FB post on Pictures of Chicago—-photo by Martin Spicuzza. The buildings and yellow foliage went well, but I missed the boat on the red tree and that orange bush/tree made me crazy.

  1. Yes, love the foliage and the buildings on the first one — especially like the branches with the few leaves hanging down in front of the buildings. It has a very end of fall feeling. The pumpkin studies are very fallish too. I really like the one with the touch of blue behind the pumpkin.

  2. That first one is quintessentially Autumn in Chicago. I like how the foliage and branches frame the houses and push them back. Love all the fall colors—and the complementary blue chair really makes the pumpkin into the focus.
