One Sunday morning drive at Devon Avenue was through a canopy of Autumn in various stages of colorful departure. This is my inspiration for this painting from photos taken from our car on the way to a Sunday Lunch. " A thing of short lived beauty is a joy forever"!

Love the different marks on this beauty.
ReplyDeleteThat's such a lovely spot to drive through. I like the way you captured the fleeting autumn colors without unnecessary detail. It feels like you're quickly driving by.
ReplyDeleteI'm not familiar with this spot but wouldn't it be cool if you painted it at different times of the day and of the year kind of like, whats-his-name, that haystick guy.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mark making and colors!
