Susan, I love the sky in the landscape. Also, the florals are lovely. It's especially nice to see the touch of color with the white flowers, in the stamens, the center of the rose, and the markings. Very nice.
I remember when you were painting that and you painted in that upraised lid near the end and I kept wondering what is with that big white oval. Well done. Reminds me of one my art heroes Charles Sheeler https://www.sothebys.com/en/artists/charles-sheeler who painted a lot of scenes of industry, but painted them like they were classical Greek monuments. Always with no people around so that the silence is like thunder. An oxymoron I know, but you know what I mean.
Good to see your work on the blog, Susan. Your color sense is exquisite, not to mention composition. It's great to see the contrast of the industrial building along with the up-close flowers too.
