I am enamored of this series. Love them all. The top two (and the earlier postcards in the group) feel fresh, windy and sparkly. You can feel the sun and air--everything a good plein air painting should be. I really like that last one, too--even more in person. It's deep and rich and there's enough depth and contrast to keep me looking. Keep going
....I wasn't quite finished when I hit the publish button. I was planning a comment about spinning wheels got to go round or big wheels keep on turning, but then I figured maybe it was best to stop when I accidentally did.

ReplyDeleteLooking good, Ken. I don't see it as spinning your wheels, more like really painting.
ReplyDelete3 and 4 my faves and I can make up a “story” about either which I like.
ReplyDeleteI really like the energy of the brush strokes. Something going on there that is not like your latest works. I like the last one too.
ReplyDeleteThese are really nice. The last two have a much different quality than the earlier ones. Keep going.
