I did quite a lot of work on my Ocean Springs bridge picture. I might have masqued more of the bridge to leave more highlights. I might go in with some white gauche to make the bridge sing more but we’ll see. The giant stays.
My tribute to Walter Anderson continues slow but sure with many complicated pieces.
The sky and water are magnificent. Nice compositional choices to balance all that movement with the sand the horizontal of the bridge. And the giant doesn't bother me; truth be told, I didn't even notice until someone mentioned it!
ReplyDeleteGiant still bothers me a bit, but I can get over it. Looking past him and the beach I like the bridge and the distant blue buildings and the cloudluscious sky. Putting people in your painting is just asking for trouble if you ask me.
