This is the top left of last week's leaf. I followed a hunch on the right side of the leaf and I like the way it turned out. Followed another hunch on the left side, and not that crazy about the way it turned out. Well how are you going to know if your hunch will work out unless you try it?

A cropping

Well, I like both sides of the leaf...not so much together, but I do like each of them. Are you planning to make them consistent or leave them as they are? And it's always good to follow hunches--sometimes you fall flat, but more often than not, something brilliant happens!
ReplyDeleteIt was sort of like that in the photo only not so pronounced. At this point the left side is totally worked over so to get it to match I'd have to mess with the right side which I really like, so I'm sticking with it as it is. Maybe nobody will notice. That's how Picasso did it all the time. "I'll bet I could stick an extra nose on this broad's chin and nobody will even say anything."
DeleteYou are getting better day by day. I really liked the detail in this part of the picture. I could see it on someone’s wall.
