So far so good I think, Doing a close up gives me more freedom to abstract him without worrying so much about getting all those pesky details just so. Also it helps when painting to listen to Emmylou Harris rather than CNN.

I love this--especially how it all emanates from his eye! He's got such a personality. It's your best one yet in this series.
