Cezanne and Signorini

 First in a series of people viewing Cezanne paintings at the Art Institute. 


Trying to paint in the style of Loriann Signorini, who works in pastel. The yellow one is my attempt to copy her painting. The pink one is from my photo.

    I'm a big fan of your Art Institute paintings, as you know. I'm also loving the new landscape direction you are taking. It reminds me of Turner. I'm going to have to look up this Loriann Signorini now, since you recommend her.
