Every 3 or 4 years I do a self portrait but I find that I use a reference photo from the past when I looked better. This is 8 1/2 X 12 on Yupo.
I like this. I like the softness of the color palette, the texture of the shirt. You’ve caught the relaxedness of the pose really well.
Very cool. I especially like the contrast between the softness of the colors and values and the monumental feel of the subject in the frame.
I almost never do people because they usurp the whole rest of the painting. In this one the shirt is usurping the person. Nice shirt though.
