These are fledglings. Lots to worry about when it comes to children.

Oak Titmouse (Amy Tan.book). “What if I’m trans?”

Dark eyed Junco (Amy Tan)   No school in Gaza in a year for the children who have survived.  Goodbye to Dept of Education  in U.S.

All small on the same strip of paper

  1. All God's (feathered) creatures in this godless time in America huh? How small are they and what kind of paper is it? Not a fan of its highly visible texture. A nice raw look which is what I think you are working at.

    1. Paper from a pad bought at an estate sale. The bottom part from another painting. 4x4.

  2. I'm inclined to believe these are quite small, based on the size of the paper texture. I think they would look great in a group or, as you say, on a single strip of paper. I like the variety you achieved with the limited palette and the way you played with the textures of the feathers, eyes and ground.

  3. Keep going Greeta. You're keeping the birds safe on paper and documenting there individual essence.
