Mostly working on the blue in the sky on this one, but I like the the way the hill stood up for itself.
This guy is going to have to step out of the shadow of his big brother and I may just have a way to help him out.

I really like the top one. The way the hill is painted is very nice. I like the color combo, those little tree shapes and the texture of the sky. The bottom one has potential but it’s not quite there yet. It needs more color in the hill.
ReplyDeleteI like the first one, especially the tiered effect on the hill and the billowy clouds. But I also miss the airiness of last week's start. I'm waiting to see what you have planned for the second one—I have confidence. I'm also curious why you decided to split the paper from corner to corner. As a composition choice, it seems to make it feel more abstract automatically.
