February 28, 2026—Elaine O.

I've gone nocturne. Now comes the moment of truth. While, I actually like the energy of those blue lines, it's time to let it dry thoroughly and remove the masking fluid...

I still have some work to do, but I do like the tracery of the twigs. Interestingly enough, this photo looks bluer and cooler. Same camera, same location, both in natural light but at different times of day. The second one is closer to life, and I'll be interested to see how the final version photographs next week.

    Well done but I did like the blue lines of the masque too. You could still pop a few tourquisey lines in there.

    Seemed darker to me in class, but those photos they never seem to come out the same, so many variables. Everything I said about it last time. Love it.

    You really got the sparkle you were looking for by removing the masking. The white against the dark sky and building really emphasizes the nighttime look. Great work - don’t mess with it!
