This is one of those paintings that needs a day away to decide you like where it's going. And now I'm hoping I don't ruin what I have. I also think this is going to be one of those slow-and-steady paintings, so you'll see me working on this for the next couple of weeks or so. Just a warning!

It's a boy climbing a tree in summer, by the way.
Everything is going great so far. It will be interesting when the kid pokes his head out of the white.
