The colors very muted here. I actually used Quinacrodone Gold diluted for background. Apple has “improved” my photo ap I enjoyed painting on the Khadi paper but a smoother type would probably have been a better choice for this subject.

Sweet. Especially the drooping buds. You're really using values to create shape for the flower shapes. Those sepiatone portraits have affected all your painting...in a good way. What's the size on this?

ReplyDeleteThe flower is like a ball gown, and the background is solid, and the stem and buds are no slouches either.
