Big news--we’re having a brick-and-mortar show, Second City Watercolors! Come see our art and meet us in person!
October is Chicago Artists Month and we’re joining the festivities! (Chicago Artists Month is now in its 15th year and celebrates Chicago’s exciting art community)
We’ll be exhibiting all month in the front lobby of Truman College, 1145 W. Wilson Avenue, Chicago, IL. Our opening is Saturday, October 2 with a reception at 1:30 pm that day. Drop by if you can. We’d love to see you.
Show participants are (in no particular order): Steve Frazier, Steve Meyer, Ellen Griffin, Ellen Barcroft, Elaine Truver, Elaine Osborne, Lindsay Leghorn, Ken Schadt, Marva Flowers, Dorothy Soltys, Sara Drummond, Marge Bolin and Susan Alforque Silvano.

Other Exhibits
Susan Alforque Silvano will be one of the featured artists in The Filipino as an Artist in Chicago. The show opens October 1 at the Philippine Consulate and runs through the entire month. Selected pieces can be seen in the window of the Walgreens drugstore at the corner of Washington and Michigan in Chicago through October 10.

Dorothy Soltys’ show, Mind-sharing can be seen at Wishbone Restaurant, 3300 N. Lincoln Avenue, Chicago, IL (773-549-2663) beginning on October 2. Join her for a festive opening reception on October 6, 2010 from 6:30pm-9:30pm.

Steve Meyer will be participating in an Out of Darkness Community Walk for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention on Saturday, September 25 at the Chicago Botanical Gardens.
