Good morning Sunshine

I did a 5x7 of this flower in about an hour and it had a pleasing sway,  This is a 9x12 and it took me about ten hours.  There is more here but not sure if it is better.

The 5x7

  1. It's not better. The smaller one has a life about it that the larger one does not. The middle of the flower, the lively grass, and the jeweled turquoise sky give it a vitality that the overworked larger one does not have.

  2. These have the happy vibe that the recent weather is giving me! I prefer the smaller one. There seems to be more variety in the brushstrokes which gives it more energy and movement.

  3. The big one takes me back to the 1970s — Flower Power! Definitely a happy go lucky vibe. The smaller one is much more nuanced with its defined brushstrokes. But I’m not sure the mood matches the subject….

  4. The smaller one wins the prize as has been stated - more interesting brushstrokes, mark-making. Although the top one looks better than previously, it still lacks...In fact, I feel embarrassed when I see it, it looks so (I can't say it)
