What you DID get done is choice! The shape and texture of the raven are inspired and the gridding in the background really sets your subject off well. Compositionally, I like the way you use the decorative top of the building and the railing your raven is perched on to frame your bird.
What happened to raven 1? Yes I like the contrast between bird and background but you must have plans to spruce up those feathers...or is this going to be all about the background? The top of the building looks very cool.
The raven will get more work, it looks too much like he has his hands(?) clasped behind his back, but not sure what to do about it. i thought I would put in the background to see if that would give me some guidance.
I do like the way you let the decorative trim of the building be at a slant rather then line it up all straight and horizontal. It does seem that if he's perched on that one gray line, that his feet would be too long...or is he supposed to be on that white space?
