You really captured her eyes, her unforgiving stare, like she sees right thru you! You also caught the angularity of her face. Her severe looks were incredibly beautiful when she was young and then just so iconic as she aged. Not an easy subject!
It's her—that's for sure. There's something cubist about her angular features that adds to this. And using just value is especially effective with her looks.
Did a google image search for Georgia and there she was, dark like that. I'd prefer her done in raw sienna looking a bit sun bleached because New Mexico.
