Some of Greeta’s watercolors

Michigan Peaches (my first work on Strathmore #140 paper—the paper without much help from me made the peaches fuzzy😊)

  1. So great to see what your work again. Luscious looking peaches. I like how they are painted and the box too. And the light background just gives the feeling of summer. The portraits are lovely, especially Lily. The combination of the abstract garden and the figure reminds me of Gustav Klimt portraits. And you’ve captured the combination of sweetness and attitude in her face!

  2. Welcome back! I knew those were your peaches. All your fruit looks so perfect--and goes well with Alan's cocktails, I would imagine. You use the most wonderful colors in your statues. Same for Lily. The colors are incredible and the composition really draws the eye to her face.

  3. I have been using Strathmore 140 cold press pretty much exclusively for the last 15 years but my first thought on looking at the peaches was yupo. It was the heavy edges in the peaches that made me think so, it looks like you just put it down and it dried in place.

Where s that Fisher tomb in Graceland? That's not the Fisher of the Fisher building is it?

I love the foliage surrounding Lily. Is this a new way you have of painting or have I just not been paying much attention?

    1. Fisher tomb same family as fisher Bldg. I think Tomb is off to left as u enter and everyone tends to go right because of Eternal Silence. I made the woman look different so if u see it in person she won’t look like this.

Don’t know why foliage turned out like that behind Lily. I was hoping for a softer look in back. She’s holding a big ole bowl of spinach.
