My original intent was to start from the ear and the shadow below it and work outward like the leopard's eye, but now the profile is upstaging it. Well we'll see how that works out.

ReplyDeleteI like the pattern in the man too--makes me think of braids or dreadlocks. He's got a very noble nose--I think that's a fine focus for this portrait!
