Big Cat Three

Started out with a bang, but got a little boring at the end.  I think the image was so strong that it didn't allow for much improvisation.  And looking at it right now I notice that there is not really a background, and I love backgrounds.

  1. Hardly boring! I like it. It's strong and graphic, although I see your point. It lacks background and places for improvisation/decoration—all the things you love. I think it would lose some of its impact if you pulled back enough to include a background though. Still, it's very cool, even if it is different.

  2. Nice work, Ken. High contrast and in your face. Snarl.

  3. I love this! Your use of color is great, the composition is very strong. Close up animal portraits - it could be a thing...
Interested in seeing this in person as I just realized it’s probably 18 x 24 ... I was thinking it was more portrait size, like 9 x 12..

  4. I had it sitting upright in a chair maybe a yard from the chair where I do computer and watch tv and every now and then I would glance that way, I would have a yikes moment.

Still it was so anal it wore me out. Next one, a cheetah name Liddia, is going to be loosey goosey, wet and wild. You know, like me.

  5. And how do Buddy and Sweetie react? Are they freaked out when they catch a glance?
