Right out of the gate, the sky was a problem and I don’t know why. I went on, thinking I could fix it at the end. Ha! It’s not as blotchy in person. This took a lot of time making me wish it were larger (8x10).
I wish it were larger too. That monumental sign deserves nothing less. Seriously, I love that sign, the facade, the marquee and the lights under the canopy—you've totally got the feel of the place.
I think the sky should be darker, and no clouds, just ultramarine. That would make the building, which is sporting full frontal sunshine pop. And maybe a dark hard line outlining the letters.

ReplyDeleteThe sky works well. The contrast between it and the building really gives the feeling of early evening. Nice trees too. Love all the detail work.
