I don’t know why you think the first one needs something but the second one is done. Seems the opposite to me. I’d try some washes for the sky and the ground.
Yes, the second one is done. Anything else would be too much. As for the first, I liked the weird angles of the branches against the sky and background. Maybe they need to be made more prominent and "finger-like?" Or maybe the background foliage needs to fade a bit? Not exactly sure, but that feels like your focal point.
Love the sky in #1 and those little dots of flowers. Darken those secondary tree branches….#2 you could give more detail to that hilly ridge in the foreground. More flowers more detail…it is closer so things should be bigger….
