I think this one is finished too. I caught the faraway look on both faces…
This one I’m back to interiors…because chairs don’t say, “My hair doesn’t really look like that, Grandma…”
Yes, those first two are done. She does fill that frame, but it somehow suits. The faces on both paintings are great. And, in the second one, the bodies and faces have that drowsy weightiness. Perfect evocation of a lazy summer day. And don't you just love kiddie critics?! So funny! But, if your chair and drapes could talk, they'd be flattered.
ReplyDeleteThe first painting looks good, but I gotta say, her one eye is very dark while the other eye seems to fade away. I think the second painting looks wonderful, the way the atmosphere, the ambience is rendered. And your interior has a great beginning.
