choo choo




Almost to the station.  A couple of my fb panel of experts (Greetah was one of them) suggested that I put some red into it, which was against everything I believe in, but it needed something to pop so I used a bit of Q magenta, and I think it did the trick.

    This reminds me of the Charles Sheeler painting of the No. 5....or some of his other industrial paintings. Has a flattened abstracted quality — what if it was abstracted even more?

    One more thing I just noticed. Is the 3931 at the top of the front shield part a nod to Ten Cat? Very clever!

    Wow, I really can't tell a difference other than a few things got darkened. But the colors look the same to me. Maybe it's my monitor...I even enlarged them both and went back and forth to look at them. It is reminiscent of a Sheeler painting, Sara.
