I love these little studies—both seeing them and doing them. They make you really notice small things, don't they? And you get engrossed in the details of that particular thing. These are lovely little gems and they make me want to paint.
LOVE the frost on grasses! I don't know why you don't do more of those. By the way what are the dimensions of it.
Just speaking for myself, and I know I march to a different drummer, the others are well done, but they do not get my heart to thumping the way Frost does.
Frost is 5 X 12 on Yupo. Took me an hour after mistakenly using lemon yellow oil paint on the moon (don’t know why I bought that but didn’t catch on until it was too late-just wouldn’t mix with water). That’s why it’s so big. Also these are just sketches. The boots are my favorite and the laces are spectacular.
