Pears were on sale this week, so I started to paint their portraits before I ate them.

If you're wondering why I got so little accomplished this week, it's because...well, life! Here's a small part of my week. And if I were in the habit of naming sketchbooks, this one would have to be called "The Construction Chronicles." Here's hoping construction season ends soon so I can use colors other than grays and browns!

Good start on those plump and sassy pears, can't wait to see the red pear take its place between them.
ReplyDeleteNot much to work on with those pipes if they had been rusty and maybe had spiderwebs you would have more to work with.
ReplyDeleteThat was one expensive repair! Your drawing conveys the confusing complexities of plumbing…luscious pears…love your command of many yellows!
ReplyDeleteI don’t know. You could have bought a lot of tape for that kind of cash. Looking forward to the pears. They are sooooo much fun to paint and you get to look forward to the one hour when they are ready to eat.
ReplyDeleteThe pear line-up already looks great. mmmm. Looking forward to their grand finale. The Construction Chronicles are notably descriptive and hopefully there won't be a sequel.
