You've got that lovely orange glow when the light hits the seed cones. And the petals aren't so precisely defined that they've lost all sense of movement. Really nice work!
Echinacea? Damn, they sure look like cone flowers to me, those lovely flowers that have danced all over Lurie Gardens all over this summer. Then I looked up the name. Well okay. Quite right, the dancers are the centers, and the petals are just their tutus, and their tiptoed feet are far below in the dirty, tangled, mud below where teeny bugs wend their crooked ways.
