John has finished his Buddha and friend portrait and has
sent it away. Luckily, he made this copy that he showed us today. Notice that this has been revised since the original post.
He also began
to sketch another version of the people.
Ken has finished his dramatic tomato by adding the blue background which we all
thought was lovely and interesting.
And then Ken started a small sketch for
his next tomato masterpiece.
Alan finished his pineapple. He loved the slice; others liked the uncut portion. Honestly, it's all good!
Then Alan made a sketch for a Chicago Riverwalk scene...
...and painted a rough draft on Yupo.
Sarah continued to work on her dual portrait. She is planning to do another one with a less green version of herself.
Steve did some more work on his merman, concentrating on the face. He is planning on putting some different colors in the water.
Greeta continued working on her painting of an Ocean Springs artist known for his dancing at festivals.
Then she worked on a painting of her daughter at a
political rally...
...and finished Sister Jean, rosying her cheeks and adding some minor tweaks.
We end with Susan's Floating Muslim islands. We love the colors and the way she blended them together.
Have a safe and happy Fourth—and see you next week!
