Those reds are so vibrant—they really catch the feel of summer fruit. I especially like the last one and how you've used the water-soluble ink to define and add sparkle, but not to strictly outline every bit. That's exactly how ink and wash should work (in my opinion, at least)!

ReplyDeleteI go for #3 also. Pure fire engine red, and the bowl is no slouch.
ReplyDeleteI like the vibrancy of #3 but #1 has such lovely fruit definition— so hard to achieve just with paint. And I love the two stems sticking out!
