Overall, this winter scene turned out pretty well. Really like the snow and the background. My fall tree paintings were not too successful, so I have to think about them for a while.
This is incredible. It's got that soft snowy feel of a winter twilight with light spilling out from the warm and cozy house. I can feel the cold and the quiet. Great composition, great values, great use of color for focus—just perfect.
I knew it would be good. Great composition and use of values to tell the simple story.
