Since last week's painting turned out better than I expected, I put in more prep time than normal (instead of just diving right in). So I did value and composition studies, rough sketches and color studies.
And then, I actually began to paint. This week's forgotten paint is a dried up half tube of Undersea Green (it hasn't yet made its appearance). It's a convenience color that I bought at least a decade ago. Lately, I find I'm just mixing my own, but I remember being very fond of this color, so I'll see if I can rekindle the love.
