March 12, 2011

UPDATE--April 11, 2011--Video success!!!

We took a video, but it doesn't seem to want to upload. In the interest of speedy publication, we're publish what we have and try to upload the video again tomorrow. Enjoy what's here (there's plenty to see!) and check in again soon. It’s the last day of Spring I term--and a blustery, raw day it was. Still, we had a wonderful time and are looking forward to spring. Meanwhile, we have a plethora of extra-curricular activities to keep us busy. Here they are, in date order, so you can mark your calendars: March 12. Join Elaine Truver as the criminologist for the midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Music Box Theater, 3733 N. Southport Ave (3 blocks south of Irving, north of Addison). Can’t make it this time? Learn more about Elaine and future shows at www.midnightmadness.org.

March 20. Steve Meyer will be singing with the DePaul Community Chorus at 3pm in the Concert Hall on the corner of Belden and Halsted. The concert will feature over 140 voices and a full orchestra. These concerts are free and fill up quickly--so get there early!

March 23. There will be a reception from 6-9pm for Marge Bolin’s solo show at the Wishbone Restaurant, 3300 N. Lincoln. Can’t make the reception? The exhibition is running throughout the month of March, so you can stop in any time this month to see some fine art. We’ll be back on April 2 and look forward to seeing you then!
