August 9, 2014

The Sketch Club met today. We're an informal group of sketchers who meet randomly (usually on Saturday mornings when we're not watercolor painting together). Today there were five us and we met at beautiful, historic Rosehill cemetery. We split up, sketched, and met up to compare sketches.

Ken concentrated on the big picture, with a special emphasis on trees.

Meanwhile, Helen and Sara each concentrated on individual monuments...

As did Elaine.

All in all, a perfect morning to be out—soaking up the history and the sun.
